Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions govern all services provided by Audi Retrofits & Diagnostics Ltd. (referred to as "The Company").
1. Supply & Fit Service
The Company aims to provide the best possible service throughout the UK.
Refunds and Cancellations
In the unlikely event a customer is not satisfied with a purchase, The Company reserves the right to charge a 20% handling fee to process a refund. This fee applies to the total amount paid, including VAT.
This handling fee condition does not apply to parking sensors or items classified as special order items.
Refund eligibility is only applicable within two weeks (14 days) of the installation date.
Returned items must be in the exact same condition as when installed. Damaged or broken items will not be refunded.
Deposit Policy
A 50% deposit is required prior to ordering parts. This fee is non-refundable in the event of a customer cancellation. In very rare cases, The Company may be able to stop an order from the factory. If this is the case, the deposit may be refunded. This only applies if notification is given within 24 hours of placing the order.
Special order items usually require 7-14 working days to come into stock. The Company cannot guarantee a specific delivery date for special order items.
Warranty and Dealership Notification
All warranty work is return to base only. This service is subject to The Company's flexibility and may require a waiting time of 2-5 weeks.
All Genuine VW & Audi retrofit installations conducted by The Company will not invalidate your vehicle's manufacturer warranty.
The customer is recommended to inform their dealership of any work carried out by The Company prior to making any warranty claim with the manufacturer.
Customers should also inform The Company via phone or email and produce their invoice from The Company. This aids in any required diagnostics, and The Company is happy to communicate with the customer's service advisor if necessary.
Appointments and Charges
In the event of a missed or rescheduled appointment, The Company reserves the right to levy a £100 + VAT charge if less than a week's (7 days) notice is given.
2. Supply Only Service
Returns are only accepted within 7 days of delivery.
All returns are subject to a 20% handling fee.
Returns can only be accepted if the product is in its original, undamaged condition.
Special order items cannot be returned.
Parts damaged during installation by the customer or a third party cannot be returned.
The Company accepts no liability for damage caused to the customer or their vehicle during installation conducted by the customer or a third party.
Shipments can only be made to the cardholder's registered address.
3. Fit Only Service
The Company offers a fit-only service for products listed on the website and other compatible items. Customers should email for a quote.
The general fitting charge is £100 + VAT per hour on most installations. Technical installations are charged at a fixed rate, quoted in advance.
In the event a customer has supplied incorrect or faulty parts for an install, The Company reserves the right to charge a £100 + VAT booking fee.
This pricing applies to vehicles brought to The Company's base and may apply to a call-out basis, where a separate call-out fee may also be applied.
The Company recommends emailing with the vehicle chassis number and part numbers prior to arranging a booking.
4. Guarantee and Warranty
All work provided by The Company comes with a 1-year labour guarantee.
All parts used are either brand new or refurbished and come with a 1-year parts warranty, unless otherwise stated.
New Genuine Volkswagen & Audi parts are also covered by the manufacturer's 2-year parts warranty. New vehicles may have a 3-year warranty on OEM parts supplied.
All aftermarket products come with a 12-month warranty, unless otherwise stated.
All warranty work is return to base only. This service is subject to The Company's flexibility and may require a waiting time of several weeks.
Warranty Claim Procedure
For any warranty claim, The Company requires an email containing:
- The invoice number or the vehicle registration
- The date of installation
- A description of the fault
- A contact number
The technical team will reply by email or arrange a call back.
Warranty will be invalidated should a third party attempt to fix or repair the installed component.
Pricing Disclaimer
Prices quoted are subject to change without prior notice due to suppliers having price increases which are beyond The Company's control.
The Company endeavours to keep quoted prices accurate and up-to-date.
In the event a deposit has been paid and there is a subsequent price increase beyond The Company's control, should the customer choose to cancel the order, the deposit will be refunded without any fees incurred.
5. Security Enabled Components & Component Protection (Customer-Supplied Parts)
When customers wish to supply security-enabled components, The Company requires a VAT receipt as proof of purchase before a booking can be confirmed.
The V5C vehicle logbook and photo ID must also be presented.
The Company reserves the right to charge labour at £100 + VAT per hour for the full amount of time spent if the part supplied is faulty, stolen, or cannot be fitted for any other reason.
Email confirmation is required prior to making a booking for these specialized installations.
